Peugeot 1926 : 9 CV Type 177 M
The type 177 M succeeded the 10 CV type 177 in the mid range. It was however in the 9 CV category, since its engine's capacity had been reduced to 1.4 litres. This car was distinguished by one of its body types, the “Lumineuse” saloon with a removable transparent roof panel. A Peugeot Patent, this can be considered a precursor to sunroofs or panoramic glass roofs.
